Carbonic maceration

 

 

DENOMINATION:
Denomination d’Origine Rioja.
VARIETIES:
Tempranillo.
VINIFICATION:
Grapes are gathered manually in 15-kg boxes
in order to keep the bunches whole until
they are placed in the fermentation tanks
where they are cold-macerated for 4 days.
Low-temperature fermentation in order to
maintain the highest amount of floral and
fruity aromas, pressing gently. Following
malolactic fermentation this wine is cleared
and bottled.
AROMA:
Intense fruity expression with touches of
blackberry and raspberry on a background
of strawberry jelly beans with nuances of
liquorice.

COLOUR:

Bright cherry with violet reflections,

medium-to-high robe.
TASTE:
Refreshing, fleshy. Seems to be carbonic,
which gives it a vivacious touch.
Easy to drink.
